Part of the islamic architecture of the city, “the tomb of Hazrat Rukn-e-Alam, built in 1320-24 A.D., lies inside Multan Fort. This elegant building is an octagon in plan and is the first of its kind in the subcontinent.” More information via the World Heritage Centre.
